I am a Native Vermonter and have lived in Chittenden County since 1971. I graduated from UVM in 1975 with a degree in Finance.
Education has always been important to me. Since first licensed in 1978, I have continued to educate myself in this everchanging industry and have obtained numerous designations including CRS Certified Residential Specialist, ABR Accredited Buyers Representative, GRI Graduate Realtors Institute, ePro, and EcoBroker.
I have been involved in many community activities over the years ranging from children's sports to recreation events and more recently, I have been deeply involved in the Lake Champlain Dragonboat Festival held each first Sunday in August at the Burlington Waterfront. Our organization, has donated over $2.2M . back to the areas various cancer organizations. In am also very active in my church. And, I snow ski, hike and bike.
I have also served our area Realtor Board on many committees and have held all offices including President of the Northwest Vermont Board of Realtors. I have been a state director of the Vermont Association of Realtors and have also been honored as our Board's Realtor of the Year in 2002. And more recently I was honored with the 'Good Citizens Award'.
In working with Sellers and Buyers over the years, I have learned that if I am to serve successfully, then I must listen to the needs and wants of sellers and buyers carefully. "You can be sure that I will listen to you".
